Runner Bean planting
« on: April 27, 2010, 09:22:09 »
I would like to know how far apart I should be planting my runner beans, I've always planted them about 12" apart but was wondering if I can plant them closer together. Any help would be appreciated ???

Mine are at twelve, although I have a couple right next to each other, which was a mistake on my part.

Welcome Mike,
I plant mine 12-15" apart and 2 per cane too. Rows are about 6-8' long and 2' apart.
Watch out though they is hungry bu**ers.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

Mike,
Here is an example of how I do things.
Just completed before I had to come to work.

Got them back now to put some tread on them
