What do you do when you cannot get to your allotment?

I make jewellery with beads or metalwork and/or wirework, and I'm always sewing something too. I could do this all day, every day if only I was rich enough.

My wife bought me a fruit press for Xmas and I hope to make cider this year during the dark cold days when I cannot get to the allotment.

If anyone else has had success I would be glad to get advice.
