I have decided to give my seed swap a bit of a boost.  But there are some new rules.

This is a seeds swap.  If you no longer wish to take part please pm me.  If you have nothing to give then you you have nothing to take so please withdraw.

1.  No out of date seeds
2.  No Greasy packets., they will contaminate the rest
3.  This is a swap! You must replace what you take with something else of value.
4.  All self grown seeds should be labelled with your A4A name and dated.
5.  Ask yourself would you like to receive what you send.
6.  All repacketed seeds to be clearly labelled including the date and variety.
7.  All packets to be returned to the post the next working day after receipt.
8.  Please pm me the postage cost of packet on arrival.

Has something gone wrong? I'm definitely in, whatever the rules.

Sounds very sensible given the situation....

1.  No out of date seeds

Many seeds are viable well after their packet date though? I had had many "out of date" seeds from previous swaps that have done really well! Could this not be at the discretion of the individual?

There are about nine still on the list so it will be some time before it gets to you.  PM me if you would still like to join. You then Get  a pm when the package is a couple of people away.  If you do not respond to that you will be added to the end of the list.

Yes a lot of seeds are viable after their dates but it depends on how they have been stored.  Thanks to several people the parcel has now been revitalised I would like to keep it that way.

Sorry about the rules but this is a swap and not a free seed offer.  Carrots for example are not renown for longevity.
