Agree Tim they can be mashed, not all varieties though. Tried some Rocket potatoes roasted last weekend they were ok.

and i know there are far better things to do with them
 but people keep on telling me you cant  make chips from them!

Did chunky potato wedges with them last week. Dunked in olive oil and flour, went all crispy - yummy!!!!
