Yesterday found a Convolvulous Hawk Moth roosting on our back gate.  Huge thing - around 3 inches long, and well camoflaged against the wood.

They're another moth that usually sticks to mainland Europe, but comes over here when it's hot.

Any other unusual sightings this year?
