Okay, took some pics today on my plot.  See how things are loving the warmth and growing like mad!

My Broadbeans, sown late winter, now in full flower.  Just need a swarm of bees to come and do their stuff.  (preferably when I am not there!)

My rhubarb, (thanks again teresa) all squeeky and growing strong.

This is just the view from beyond the apple trees showing off my new fleece covering 2 rows of carrots I sowed today, right up to my cloches where my peas are germinating.

My asparagus 'grave'.  All being well tomorrow (saturday) I will get them in and covered.  Took some digging this 'ere 'ole!

And my garlics.  The photo doesn't do them justice really.  They are all lovely and strong and so green.  The cold weather really hasn't done them any harm at all.

EJ I can't get over your piccies! WOW  Shocked

Everything here is still TINY. Mind you we are still having some pretty cold weather with night frosts.

My red and black currant bushes are beginning to sprout buds though and I notice my gooseberry bush is beginning to push up though the soil.
I have a few apple, pear and plum trees but so far leaf buds are just beginning to show.

Eileen.

You're very modest, EJ; We can all appreciate the effort put in. Looking good. (Where's your sunflowers?)

I have to admit to not being very good with sunflowers.  They tend to be luck rather than judgement.  Got some whoppas last year, don't know how!  Shocked  Will buy some seed this week and start some off, gotta be in it to win it I guess.

As for the lottie, went up on Saturday afternoon and get the sparagus in, along with kohl rabi, carrots, beetroot and parsnips all under fleece.  Also the rest of my early spuds are in and comfy.  'Tis begining to get busy up there.  I saw 8, yes 8 people.  Now that is an all time world record for our site!  Grin

Almost as good as my soggy plot at the moment!

Furrowed to dry out a bit.

And the grass and weeds get riddled before composting.
