Went up to the lottie today to rake up all the leaves (8 bags and counting), and as I was wandering back towards the gate I glanced up at an old gnarled apple tree on someone elses plot and thought ' there are a lot of leaves on that tree!' so I went to investigate, and it is smothered in mistletoe!  From down the trunk to right up in the highest reaches!  All covered in berries!  I shall keep an eye out for that plottie holder to see if I can take a wee nip to bring home for all the Christmas kissing I am sure I am entitled to, and to see if I can pinch a few berries to squeeze into the crevices of my apple tree!  I want some!  I want some!

My teenage son got scads from a mate of mine last year and made a wad of cash selling it in the street. He looked all cute carrying my hurricane light with a laurel wreath on his head (he has no shame, especially if there is loot in it). This year, he is planning on doing the same and also has access to a load of twisted willow - says he gonna spray it silver. He is trying to bully me into making holly wreaths - not a chance tho'

Go for it with the seeds, if you can grow pineapples, mistletoe should be a pushover.
