2006 Pumpkin Competition Chat

Had a phone call form our local newspaper today regarding the  Pumpkins we grew.

They are sending a reporter and a photographer out on Monday to  publish a story about  them in next weeks paper

Of course i gave the credit to the kids for growing them so they will be featured.

They want  to see some of the large ones carved out for the photos so a busy weekend for me.
Its a shame i have already given some large ones away.

The deadline has now passed for the heaviest and biggest pumpkin competition. I'll announce the winners tonight.

The pumpkin carving thread is looking good, remember you've got until the 5th to post your entries so please remember to take photos. I'll set up a poll for that section at the end of the weekend so we can all vote for a winner.
