In the spirit of Christmas revelry and doing things you profoundly regret afterwards, I thought it would be nice to have a thread for people to post pictures of themselves so we can stop wondering who we're talking too.

Of course some of you have done this already. One of us has even done it half naked! But maybe some of our more retiring members can be coaxed out of the shadows (with their kit on)...?

Here are the suggested rules:

1. No pictures substituting Johnny Depp or somebody from Girls Aloud for your good self...
2. No airbrushing, silhouettes, balaclavas etc. or pictures from 1974 (unless they are funny)
3. Lots of other stuff t.b.a. (probably).

Feel free not to do it if you think it's silly or something but: If you don't do it: Derek the Fox says you're a wimp...(hides).

I hereby undertake to post my picture before christmas, providing I can find the software for my camera...

(Excuses starting already...)

Who's gonna get the ball rolling....??

Well tried, TM - but what happened to all the other photos in the 2 previous attempts??

Cannot see why folk are so reticent. As said so often, it really does make it more of a family thing if one can talk to a person. I'm not much 'up' in other forae but, from what I've seen, isn't this one thing that makes A4A so special? And if you are recognised in Tesco - so what?

I'm absolved, because you've seen at least 4 of me over the years. Mustn't do an overkill?

And Sam - I thought that cradle pictures were disallowed??

Just booted the 4 year old off the PC: Well done everyone (so far)! Keep those pictures rolling...Maybe Dan could make this into a 'sticky' thread? Maybe Dan could post a picture of himself??

UP & EJ a special contribution indeed...'hubba! hubba!' I think is the vernacular phrase...Mike B - I can see why you look so serene and happy... Wink YP very good, but against the rules...

Wait a minute what's that horrible noise? Oh no it's Wardy:

Quote
Excuses, excuses" to quote TM.  You have, may I say, more excuses than a hound dog has fleas Publish and be damned TM I think at 6'5" you are quite a statuesque gent and obviously smart so will have a broad forehead, slim I think as have four kids, hence no dosh so will be slender I think you might be quite cerebral, a bit like Jake Thackray. Correct me if I'm wrong

Are you keeping a file on me Wardo?! Grin  Thanks for those generous and alarmingly accurate observations but who the is Jake Thackray. Does search... hmmm you may be suprised in a disappointed sort of way....

As for me posting GIVE US A CHANCE. I've given my word but these things take time - the house is a tip, the dog's fleas need walking...

For those who've posted pictures elsewhere (Tim, Wardo, DTF) why not post some more here so we can have a one-stop reference point for A4A members. Oh, good on you Tim our posts crossed...

Good work Clanger. I'm starting the hunt for my camera's software and that funny lead thing now.

Come on the rest of you, this is much more important than writing Xmas cards...

Right well we need more pictures and less excuses I think ...

Well so far we have not done badly on the glamour front, lots of lovely ladies, but as red blooded bloke, I vote we need more !!! So I will be sending out calls and messages for more pictures. Perhaps you other guys could do the same? I suppose the ladies want more blokes on too? It figures I guess.

Oh yes, swimming cossy pics are very acceptable (ladies only for me though  Grin )
