Hi everyone,
I now have the new greenhouse up and running with toms in situ and lots of bits and bobs coming along nicely for the allotment.
1) On GW at the weekend, I vaguely heard something about rooting corner shoots from toms to get a late crop - can anyone fill me in on that one?
2) Mainly interested in growing things to eat - most of the space is taken up by the toms peppers etc. What can I grow in the greenhouse in between the end of the tom season and the start of the "bringing stuff on for th allotment chaos" that starts around February? - any advice please.
Thanks,
Sarah.

1 The offshoots from tomatoes will take readily in compost for a later plant. Try different sizes.
2 Oriental veg is good in greenhouses for winter . Last year I had lollo rosso through till Feb albeit more cut and come again size than hearted. Lamb's lettuce can stand over winter too. I'm also planning on using one greenhouse bed to try and get really early autumn sown broad beans
