Magpies and cat

I watch two magpies tormenting a cat last night. They were running up to it and pecking its tail.  :o  It went on for about 15 mins.  I thought the cat might have been injured and couldnt chase them but it wasnt. It just wanted to sleep and because it couldnt, it decided to have a wash and then got up and walked away.

I know magpies are not shy creatures but to attack a cat??  :o

I took a couple of photos but they are not the greatest quality cos that old garage is too far away.

Magpies seriously have the cheek of the devil.  Lol at the cat being so laid back and taking it all  ;D
