Market stall next week - ideas please

Ok well noone has got back to me so far with promises of plants so this is what i have...

Plants
Herbs - lime basil, siam queen basil, tendersweet basil, dill, marjoram, borage, parsley, mixed mint. £1 each
Patty pan squash. £1
Courgette plants 50p
Peppers - king and queen heritage, sweet californian £1
chilli - serrano, jalepeno and something else £1
Melons - but not sure if they are sugar baby, tiger or charentais - could sell some as lucky dip LOL £1
Some very large tomato plants if i can get them in the car LOL £3

Other

Bagged washed lettuce 50p
Bagged comfrey leaves - advertised as 'kick start your compost the organic way!' £1
Broad beans - kids dont really like them and i have loads £1

'Kids grow your own' at 50p
give a pot, get the kids to fill with compost and sow either a sunflower or some peas or beans. - will i need to supply gloves or handwashing area?

Lots of petitions for people to sign

Have i missed anything?
What do you think to my prices?

Sounds like you have a busy time ahead. You might put a Marigold glove in with the compost or possibly some cheap freezer bags on a roll.

Want a rack full of sticks??   :D

Hard to say with prices-what ever the market can take? . I would want something special for £1 a herb but I`m a grower remember-and courgettes are popular this time of year-I might go in at 75p and come down if they don`t move.

You might want to pack sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds for people to grow next year.

You might find that seeds that you can grow in pots like finger carrots, salad etc might also work?

Can you dig up the whole lettuce plant & sell it for £1 as 'living lettuce'?  good luck - let us know how it goes.   :)
