my son candy~floss came home from school yesterday in a mood because sport's day has been cancelled this year.
he' s been carrying his PE kit around for the 3 days on the off chance it'll go ahead.
the reason it's cancelled is because the grass is wet!
it was a fantastic day yesterday but the grass was still slightly damp~cancelled again.
apparently some guy slipped last year & tried to sue the school because he hurt his ankle.
i think i can safely say there'll never be another sports day~i live in scotland , it rains most of the time.
therefore it's very unlikely the grass will ever be bone dry!!!

 GW, why cant the school have the sports day in the main hall, or are the children to big??

my boys are at secondary school r.
it would be abit crowded if they were to use the gym hall i think.
