Parsnips In Compost Sacks

Just wondering if it would be possible to grow parsnips in compost sacks.... ???

I'm doing potatoes in compost sacks, this year and if it's successful I thought I might try parsnips next year as well.
I'm quite limited in what I can grow, as my husband doesn't eat many veggies and there's no point in me growing things that we can't both eat. I'm also very short on space, so anything I grow has to be in tubs or sacks :(

Any advice would be appreciated  :)

Don't see why not -don't the exhibition types grow them in drainpipes? I suppose the main problem would be what's in the sack, I know that you don't grow parsnips on freshly manured ground as they fork maybe sacks of topsoil? Or old soil in old sacks?

Might give them a go next year, then. It's got to be worth a try.
