This opened this morning, I thought I had bought a Yellow Flag Iris but I was shocked to see this, I have no idea what it's called so I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what kind of Iris it is...

iris forrestii does not have so much veining but it is the nearest match I can make,beardless\sibirica, but it could be an unknown  X variation. There are thousands out there, but you might be lucky and be able to name it whatever you like.

I am just starting growing irises and have a lot of learning to do. But  there must be somebody on this site with a lot more knowledge on varieties.
