More eggs now!

As you know we now have a few hens, two have been laying from day one but today the Sussex Star laid her first egg so we are now up to 3 eggs a day. Hopefully that will be 6 a day in the next 2 weeks.



It is amazing how small the first egg is, more like a bantams egg! Not eaten yet but will be in a day or twos time! The yolks of the other eggs have changed so much in the last 2 weeks too, so yellow now the hens have access to green!
