Maybe a bit of extra info could help.  Is is a wild plant in a water meadow, cultivated in a garden bed, how tall?  Where did you find it?  On holiday abroad or on heath land in Britain?  With a bit more information you might still get an id.

PondDragon

It's Gaura. Don't know which one.

I thought Gaura or Clarkia judging by the seed pods or are they flower buds.

As Galina says more info would be helpful. :happy7:

Hello, it is and I did thanks. That certainly looks a gaura but I'm not sure which pink variety it is.  Lovely plant and flower.   xx
Flighty's plot,  http://flightplot.wordpress.com,  is my blog.
