Went to NT Chastleton House yesterday.  They had a gorgeous climbing plant with stunning yellow flowers.

Should be in  nonedible plants?  No it was a cucamelon.

I think you should watch what you are eating.

Digeroo

Does that mean that the little fruits are not edible.

Digeroo

I asked what they were and was told but National Trust volunteers it was cucamelon.  Seems they have a problem.  Though it odd, I thought the flowers were very wrong for a cucumber family.

Actually I think there was a cucamelon there as well, I think the fruits were right they just did not belong to the flowers.

I think you're right. Looking closely, I can now see what looks like a Cucamelon flower. On the 5th plank down, between the 2 strings about 1/3 of the way in from the left. The leaf shape of that plant is different as well.
