They look really good, do they cope with diseases well?

So far. Babbington's, elephant garlic and perlzweibel are leeks, and none of them, as far as I know, get white rot. I only started growing potato onions - apart from shallots - last year, so it's a bit early to tell yet. I lost most of my shallots last winter, to a bacterial rot. Most of the survivors were damaged, and it's going to take a couple of years to recover. Walking onions seem to be indestructible.
