Went to RHS Wisley yesterday. On a corner beside the 'canal' there is a large patch of VERY attractive scarlet ground-cover planting, labelled Cuphea something or another. Startling colour and obviously a bee haven.
Tried to buy it at Wisley plant centre, but not there.  I can't seem to find an internet  source anywhere in the UK, seed or plants.  Anybody know the full name and a source?
Thanks

I think it may be also called false heather if that is any use..
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

This is the cigar plant? I grew some from seed years ago when I had a crack at tropical-type summer flowers, can't remember the variety but it was readily available then in all the catalogues - pre-internet days, remember them?!

Chiltern Seeds have two types of cuphea with red flowers.
