I want to grow some Strawberries and I am aware of white Strawberries, they are almost invisible to birds I have read somewhere.
Has anyone any views on them?

I tried grow some a few years ago but wasn't over impressed. They didn't crop very generously and the slugs seemed to love them, and I didn't notice any difference with bird damage either. Flavour wise, nothing special either so wouldn't recommend them. I now stick to my all time favourite Marshmello, I'm replacing some plants this year and I now net the lot as it seems the only way to discourage birds ...
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

A neighbouring plotholder grows them and had a good crop last year, unnetted. I tried some - very disconcerting eating "unripe" fruits! The taste etc was fine. I would have to mix them with red strawberries to like them, same as yellow or purple raspberries.
