New Stuff this Year

Been absent for a while but now that the season is kicking off with a vengeance I am trying a couple of bits and bobs. Firstly, I invested in a rotovator (I know it's cheating!!) and it has been fantastic taking around an hour to go over the whole allotment - well the bits that are free at present. It cost just over £150, brilliant. I am also going to try seed tapes (Home made using toilet paper) to cut down on thinning out so hopefully it will be a success. I am also going to crack chillie growing this year but haven't decided what new plant to try this year. Happy growing everyone.

  nice to see you. Glad you are loving your new rotavator, I'm hoping to rotavate my potato patch as soon as the ground is workable, it makes a difference to how much I can manage. Let us know how you get on with your toilet paper seedtapes, how do you do them?
I've finally sown my chilli seeds a little late but luckily I'm in no rush, hopefully they will be ready for planting when the weather has warmed up a far bit to what is is now!
