Spaghetti Squash

I grew spaghetti squash for the first time this year.  I only had one plant though and it has produced one large pale green fruit though the plant still has a few baby ones on it.  When reading about them on the web, it seems the fruit should be an orange/yellow colour.  I picked it yesterday as I didn't feel I could leave it outside any longer in case we have a frost. 

Could anyone tell me please if mine will ripen indoors now I have picked it or should I eat it as it is?  Thank you for your help in this matter.

I think you should eat it as it is

Spaghetti squash is a summer squash, so like a courgette

I grow these each year and harvest them when all the foliage has died down. Yes they should be an yellow/orange colour but are ripe in the same way as butternuts and pumpkins are - sounding hollow when knocked. I haven't tried turning them darker indoors but do leave them in the greenhouse until it gets too cold. They are a great alternative to pasta. One plant this year gave me 7 very large squashes.
