Had issues with updating me iPod.
I used to love it when you could simply fill the iPod with music from my extensive library on me 'puter.
Now, as I don't use iCloud, the latest update didn't work? So I cleared it all out & reinstalled iTunes. This message now comes up "the file iTunes Library.itl" cannot be read because it was created with a newer version of iTunes. I can still play the music that is on the iPod but can I ever fill the iPod from me 'puter?

Is the iPod set to copy manually or automatically?  It might accept a manual copy of selected playlists....
Otherwise, this might help : https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5407494

Again many thanks!
After waiting awhile when trying to open iTunes, an update of iT/quicktime & iCloud came up so I thought 'sod it' so I downloaded it all.
All me music came up so I'll attempt to add it to me iPod when I can.
