Hi all can spuds that have common scab be used for seed spuds?

Best not to as it's caused by bacteria and would infect your crop this year. RHS gives some advice here https://apps.rhs.org.uk/advicesearch/Profile.aspx?pid=230

My answer.... NO.... why spread the diseases for a few quid you might save on proper seed spuds..
Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... (over 10 ton per acre)    2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..      see my web blog at...  http://www.gavinconway.net
