We are in the middle of a deep freeze. I went to the allotment and all brussels sprouts are frozen on the plants. Nevertheless i picked a bag full (smallish) and now wonder what to do. I put half in the freezer.  But can they be used?  I usually steam them or eat raw. Does anyone have experience of frozen sprouts? All information welcome.  Roll on spring! (But I did find six small winter aconites!)

They freeze very well and I find are even nicer once frozen.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Yes, I also  find sprouts freeze well. Pop into boiling water and you wouldn't know the difference from fresh.

Great!  Thanks!  I'll try them today.
