redcurrant and gooseberry recomendations

Hi,  not been here for a while for various reasons .........

But I'm planning to replace old redcurrant and gooseberry bushes of unknown variety with new plants to be grown as cordons.

I have space for probably 8 of each if grown as single cordons

I would appreciate your recommendations of varieties with flavour and disease resistance more important than high yield.
