courgette and raspberry cake

I've just done this, a mix of several recipes, but it works well, is delicious and uses up excess fruit and veg! And is quick to do.
Grate  1lb courgettes coarsely (f proc works well). Mix with 6ox white sug and 4 oz brown sug, 8 fl oz oil, (or half and half oil and yog), and 3 beaten eggs.  Sieve together 10oz flour (some wholewheat perhaps), (this time I substituted some cocoa for flour to make a choc cake for a change, about 1 heaped tblesp), 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp bicarb. 1 and 1/2 tsp  cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 6oz chopped walnuts.

Add flour mixture to courgette mixture, mix thoroughly. I did whole cake  by hand very quickly.

Put in  lined and greased roasting tin-sized tin.  Sprinkle some raspberries on top, perhaps two large handfuls, push down lightly. Bake Reg 4, 16ยบ fan, for about 45 mins until skewer comes out clean. Don't overcook as you want it to stay moist. Cool for 15 mins before turning out on rack.

Brilliant idea....thanks. We don't eat much cake on our own, but entire families are coming to stay next week, so it will be worth making it! My courgette glut is getting embarrassing, likewise last year's raspberries still in the freezer with this year's coming on.
