Compost came today, and looks good.  Got 5 wheelbarrows full.  Everyone had compost wheelbarrow frenzy.  So there Kev, we got compost, hurray.  :happy7:

Hey all,
Just  a heads up for you all who have council compost, Our local council was giving this stuff away so i helped my self to some and not sure what yours it like but ours needs to be sieved so their i was running my hand over the stuff in the sieve when i felt a scratch on lifting up my hand i had medical needle stuck into it :angry5:
Sorted myself out got it all checked out by my doctor who was happy that no blood born virus would still be alive but i did have a tetanus booster, yep i did tell the council who said they would pass it on to the company who process the waste and have not heard from them since :BangHead: this was a couple of months ago now, sooo be careful with it all.
ps i was wearing gloves :tongue3:

Blimey - think that that needs to go forward to someone else in the council if you still dont have a response! Health and safety?

I have not found needles, but had problems with bits of plastic, pieces of rust from the transport container, and weedkiller residues presume from lawn mowings.  Otherwise it has been good stuff.  I do wear gloves to handle it.
