It's perhaps not showing up in your picture but Kestrel usually have a few splashes of purple colour on the skin, or at least the ones I've grown have?

Jayb this one and several of the smaller ones don't have the distinctive purple marks on them.
I've read somewhere recently that other people have found the same this year for some reason. It'll be interesting to see if others here do likewise.

That's interesting, I wonder why? Is it just Kestrel or other 'splodged' varieties? I've some Blue Belle growing, nothing dug yet though.

I have recently dug up "Apache" (also called "Smile") and they are a complete match to what I planted: red skins with white/yellow curved patches.

If there is any flowers left on have a look at Nadine on the above potato varieties.
