blackcurrants

I have 12 mature blackcurrant bushes in my garden. always had a good crop from them. \
This year however, they bloomed like you wouldn't believe, masses.
Then  every blossom fell off ,  not one currant. any idea's why they did this.

A late frost?

I see you are in Canada so I don't know what the weather was like in your spring.  Over here, it seems to have been the ideal conditions for them as most people have a really bumper crop this year.
