Does anyone know whats happened to my chilli plants. They have developed rust like brown spots overnight. They are in the green house and I've been feeding them 1/2 strength tom food once a week.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think there is nothing to worry about those..I recall having something very similar on my plants in past and they didn't 'do' anything or spread. To me that is sign of some sort of damage...possibly to do with watering/feeding.
Are you letting the soil dry out at all before watering the plants again? And other thing...you say you feed them once a week...how often you do actually water them? They would benefit watering with some plain water few times between the feedings..tomato feed is quite strong for chilli's needs and even with half strength it may be too much. I find watering chillies with VERY well diluted water-fertilizer solution all the time will give me much better return rather than 'dollop every so often' method. I fill 2 or 3 watering cans or water with half measure of fertilizer to get nice and weak mix.

I hope your right GL! I think it's more likely to be over watering. I just asked the boss if she had been watering them while I've been at work and it seems that we've both been watering them. I will cut back on the feeds though and see how it goes.

AH...then those brown spots could be odema. With different plants the symptoms (spots, blisters, warts) vary but it always some sort of spotting. Don't pick any of the leaves off..they are still fully functioning ones and picking would only make situation worst as fewer leaves would mean plant will use up less water.
Odema is usually sign of over watering (plant takes up more water than it needs) or too much humidity.
Just keep the plants off from drinks for a while... :drunken_smilie: :icon_cheers:
