Seedlings found????????

I went down to the composter & there were several seedlings around the base. At first i thought they might be courgettes but now I'm not sure. I would eat the whole courgette. They are either squash or melons. Do those 2 look very similar please?

At first melon and squash look similar..but soon squash seedlings start growing and they are much more robust...often even in first seedling stage. Melons look more like cucumbers when young.

Most likely to be melons in that case. What would you suggest oh wise one , bearing in mind the trials & tribulations of DebP & melons .
