two healthy sized and showing eyes lumps of rhubarb were left on a compost heap today so I have pulled out a lot of the couch grass and planted them.
they are nowhere near as growing as some of the rhubarb on the site so I guess it must be a latter variety.
I know it's the wrong time of year to move rhubarb but I just thought I would give it a try.

it was such a lovely afternoon here in North London that I planted my new strawberry plants  in a bed containing 2 blueberry bushes that are quite tiny hopefully they won't be competing for anything and I can move the strawberries next spring to a more suitable position.

Good for you. There's nothing like rescuing a free plant. And rhubarb roots are pretty tough. I hope it survives for you and is a nice red one.
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

Well done

Quoteis a nice red one.

Maybe a nice green one, my best tasting one is very green.

Could be small because it's been neglected or it's been in a dry spot. Wait and see.
