thanks galina and jayb,i am just home from hospital and it went well.Left arm in bandage so i am now an one armed gardener for the time it takes to recover.Let the parcel have a quick journey across the pond.I have plenty of time now to plan everything on the allotment.

The great 'elephant' has landed! (eagle is just not big and bulky enough).
I have just made myself  :coffee2:...been for a walk with dog, again...outdoor job for today is nearly done and I can have well earned coffee and seed 'oogling' break :toothy10:

Oh..just noticed something....did I send too many seed packets? I got lot of my own back? Or has somebody been left out ?
I've got gherkins...peppers...lettuce...toms...w.onions...broadbeans...squash.... anybody?

Its not a problem...once somebody will put claim on them...I shall pop them in post..
I would be surprised if you didn't get something wrong..sorting all those seed into different lots will take some doing.

Same here.  Just to add to the list above that JayB has shared the seedsaving for Black Opal tomato to give us seeds from more plants.  Also I had Shark's Fin Melon seeds as well as butternut squash in the seed packet from NigelB. 

What a treat and what a super choice of different types too.

Blimey, you cleaned your lettuce seeds much better than I did,  goodlife!  Would you like to share your method?  Not that it matters, but yours look so much more professional than mine!   :icon_cheers:

Thanks...but it 'only' involved strong set of lungs and dizzy head after lot of blowing.. :drunken_smilie:..and propably lot of seed around garden too...

Galina , glad you liked the packets, I have started a collection, I like the Thomas Etty ones, as a child I can remember Carter's seed packets looking quite Victorian and not in vintage  way.
