Hello all!
In the dark, depths of my memory I have a vague idea that I once watched something on the telly about planting particular plants alongside others to help them grow. For example I think I saw something about planting marigolds near cabbages so that slugs eat the marigolds instead of the cabbages.

Could some kind soul please put me out of my misery and aid a new allotmenteer who has a bad memory.

Any other planting combinations would also be appreciated. My husband and I are very new at this and want to learn as much as we possibly can.

Many thanks, :sunny:

You might want to look at the Gertrude Franck method of companion planting. It's been brilliant for me in 2012
