Yes it is that time again!!! The potatoes are from JBA and I've done a quick look and are cheaper than buying online-unless of course you are buying 25kg bags of one variety. You can have a day out in the lovely town of the Crooked Spire, or visit the Peak district. I can direct you to the best hostelries too  :blob7:
Might even get chance to meet some of you

ps they seem to have a way of preventing the overcrowding that I have heard about at some potato days, and pre-ordering is cheaper.

I don't think i could face another potato day like last year

It was like going to a sale at next on boxing day

I then had the Micheal taken out of me for bringing back golden wonder potato (which actually tasted lovely and made wonderful chips)

BUMP!
BTW! Apparantely seed potato stocks in country are all time low this year..so if you know you will need some..be early to ensure you are not left out!!!
As for the Chesterfield potato day...did go there last time..got some lovely and clean spuds..some garlic and I thought I met  Pumpkinlover. I met this lady (same name as PL) and had good chat with her (as A4ALL members do) gave her my 'seed pressie' and instructed how to grow them..went home happy with my shoppings and that I had chance to meet PL....only to find out that I've been chatting with totally wrong lady :drunken_smilie:  I'm still laughing that mistake... :icon_cheers:
We've put that 'mistake' right now and I can throughly recommend to meet PL...lovely 'girl'  :toothy10:
