iPhone 4 and iOS 6 update....is it worth it??

I have had a second hand iPhone 4 for the last year and having got used to it like the way it works. I have been reading about the latest update, and for my phone it looks as though the bad points far outweigh the 'benefits' of the new update. Losing google maps and search is a big downside for me, and as I don't use Facebook or Twitter I can't see what the point would be. I haven't updated yet.....thoughts anyone?

Well the maps is pretty terrible and it probably will take a while to fix it and Google Maps wont be available for a while (if ever)..
I'd wait - not that iown an iphone!

I also use the maps all the time so I'm waiting to see what other issues there are before upgrading.

Just to add one of our management team did just this and reports that it is horrible on his iphone 4 and is going to put the old one back on..

I've heard of a few people that have done the same. My son uploaded the ios6 onto his 4s, lost the 3G, and now it is stuck on 'connect to iTunes'. He tried rebooting it, and then restoring it on iTunes and it just gives an error code that means it might need servicing! He is not a happy bunny....

It seems a lot more gimmicky than normally. Most of the stuff I don't want. FB interface seems good if you like that kind of stuff.
