It's our lottie association show tomorrow.. most of my veg is ready.. Still got to pick a cabbage tomorrow.. also picking some blackberries to add to the bowl of fruit.

Had a great day.. well attended considering it's late in the year and the season was not good...

Anyway I scooped the Best On Show amoungst others...  So pleased with the results...

I entered the following..

any other veg section very large section..
selection of courgettes
selection of gemsquash
selection of potato onions
a cabbage
selection of winter acorn squash - 1st Place in whole section

3 leeks nill awards

bowl of fruit 3rd place

3 onions each smaller than 12 oz. 1st place - and BEST ON SHOW

and 3rd overall... and £1 winnings

Must admit when I first saw those onions I thought you were on to a winner and I was right,well done!

I noticed your society made it easier by saying 12 oz usually it's 8 oz and that is much harder, although I think yours might have been in that range!

Thanks Tg.. interesting... Possibly because we are so good at growing we just cant grow them smaller!!  :toothy10: - just weighed them and they are just a tad shy of 7 ozs..
