Never grown the giant variety of pumpkins before so not sure, do I have to protect them from the frost?   :wave:

I am growing big ones this year and not sure the answer to it

How are they looking?

they started off small dark yellow but are now large and pale yellow in colour. still seven weeks to halloween so don't want anything to happen to them  :icon_cheers:

Well our biggest one i am estimating as weighing around 6 stone based on a smaller one that i had to remove!

Mine is about 2' diameter.Is it edible or just for carving?

Yes.  I always watch the weather forcast at this time of year.  I leave them out in the sun for as long as I dare.

What do you protect them with? should I cover them with fleece or cut them and store them inside?
