For the First time I have been hit with the Blight this year. Under my rotation plan this bed is earmarked for Potatoes next  Year. Should this be a problem?

They're closely related plants, so it's better not to grow them in the same gorund on consecutive years. That said, blight overwinters in living tissue. Volunteer spuds are a classic source, but no part of a tomato plant survives, so you won't be giving the potatoes blight.
