Perpetural Strawberries

My perpetual strawberries have decided not to flower.   A few plants have a few flowers but most are just leaves.  Does anyone know how to get them into action.  Should I feed them or cut of some leaves or just give them a good talking too.

Potash fertiliser is what helps flowering.  Too much nitrogen prevents flowering.  Comfrey liquid or perhaps tomato feed might be beneficial.  However, this year - since everything is out of whack and late, it may just be one of those things.  They may be fruiting in October or conserving their energy for next year.

Mine have been very shy flowers this year too...and I put it down to weather.
They propably do try to flower later on as mine have in past produced very late berries, some so much that they've failed to ripen and got spoiled by frost.. ::)
