Sparkling raspberries!

I'd heard you could make a  nice drink with sparkling wine and strawberry juice.  Yesterday I thought I'd try an experiment with sparkling sweet wine and sweetened raspberry purée.  OH was a bit dubious, but in fact it was pronounced a great success, by everybody, and it looked so very pretty! I put a big spoonful of the purée in each glass first.  Then when the wine was poured in, it frothed up beautifully pink, and mixed itself.

if you had used a dry white fizz it would be a a Raspberry Bellini ;)
