Its a boston squash, about 3 times the size of our other boston one. 

Decided it try it.  Not turning out to be a bad squash/pumpkin season.  Ok not a large crop but enough for the winter/spring

Yes, they do get big don't they... my one two years ago was the biggest cucurbit I've ever grown....

It's certainly the biggest I be ever grown. Don't think ill grow one bigger. Could have left it a few more weeks but thought might as well make a start!

Just weighed and its 13 pounds!!

It was pretty nice apparently, I donated to local Sikh kitchen..
