Sea spaghetti

I just received delivery of 4 kiwi plants. In the packing there was a taped up jar labeled "free gift". I thought they had sent me on some kind of fertilizer for the plants but once I got the tape off I found a small jar labeled "sea spaghetti - best before June 2012". I wonder if at the garden centre they pop into the pantry and see what tins they have  that are about to expire. I'm tempted to buy again to see what they throw in next time  ;)

seams to be a type of seaweed lots of recipes online but i have to say i am not going to try eating it :)

Looks pricy though :)
