Homemade Water Pump

I have now dug 3 wells and fitted diy hand pumps that have been made of recycled square down/fall pipe & threaded bar on our allotments.  Would anybody be interested in the making/design of pump & staging over wells????

I already have a well , well about 4 ft deep has about 1 ft water . I use a 12v boat bilge pump to lift the water into butts , would be interested to see the DIY pipe pump.

Please post all the info you have Ian, it sounds really interesting what you've done.  There was a well on my site some years back that a couple of the old boys dug, but there's no sign of it now, but there must be water down there somewhere so I'd love to know how you went about it.
