Could anyone recommend an electric lawnmower for a small area of lawn.
Dont want to pay the earth for one but it does need to have a clippings box.
I have been looking online and some of them look like you have to build them yourself!!

  Cheers  ;D

Two Choices

Don't be fooled by some of the extra cheapies. They have very underpowered motors and don't cope with anything but short dry grass. Up until last year (when I treated myself to an autodrive petrol mower) I have used electric Flymos (one with wheels and not the original hovver mower). They have served me well and make a wide range to cover most sizes of gardens. Ours is 70 foot by 45 foot and the last one 120 foot long.

I have used an online provider called Gardenlines when I bought my petrol mower but tended to buy the electric ones from places like Argos and Homebase etc.  My daughter recently bought a package of a Flymo electric mower and a strimmer for about £65.  Good luck TC

Just got a leaflet through the door today from B&Q called "Get ready for Summer" on the back page it has a BOSCH Rotak 36 Ergoflex Rotary Mower for £89 thats a saving of £40.98. Its a nice big 1400w motor. Check it out on their Web site.
