I bought some Aldi Sugar Snap peas and have planted them out with some peas sticks. then i read that some sugar snaps grow 6ft or more !

Does anyone know if all sugar snaps grow tall? or if the ones from Aldi ones do?

I don't their label had details of how to grow, but it's gone now anyway ::)

No, not all sugar snap varieties do grow tall but the actual 'Sugar Snap' (as variety name) does grow tall. For example there is variety called 'Sugar Ann'..that is sugar snap as well but it is 'normal' height (up to 1m tall)

I didn't know there was a variety called 'sugar snap' but now you've said that the tomatoes and chillis did have a variety name on the label so that must be the variety rather than the type ! I should remove the pea sticks and get a wigwam up then.

They were bought as plants in a little tray, no details just a picture and the name.

I should remove the pea sticks You can leave them now and see what happens..if they do start to climb up too high...you can always stick few tall canes over later on and wrap some string around to climb on.
