Just wondered...would spinach attract cabbage whites?
Not sure if its a member of the same family

I thought cabbage whites only attacked edible plants?..... :D.... Actually found one of the blighters in the GH today... he didn't last long....

Cabbage whites are only interested in brassicas so they will leave your spinach, which is another species, alone

thats cool... I have never had any sucess with brassicas, largely down to the catapillars.
But I love greens and would like to be able to grow some. spinach it is!!

If you keep the butterflies out jessands, then no caterpillars on your brassicas ;)

Only pests with spinach are slugs and occasional peckish bird on young growth.
