Jeannine

It is a millers term for flour that has had the outer husk removed.. eg basically  wholewheat is undressed and white flour is dressed .

It is not a term usually seen in cookery books but seen often in   shared recipes for folks who grow and grind their own flour.

XX Jeannine
When God blesses you with a multitude of seeds double  the blessing by sharing your  seeds with other folks.

We have a local flour mill they sell dressed white flour which makes ace cakes but for bread i find it 2 fine and heavy so i add 1/3 spelt flour or 1/2 grannery :)
